Forum Terms of service

Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

Your personal data. By registering on this forum, you agree that it may collect some of your personal data. This data collection is done either through the information you provide us, or through the use of the services itself, for technical data used for the forum proper functioning. You can access, modify or delete your data at any time. Users under 16 years old certify that they have obtained the consent of their legal guardian in order to proceed with this registration. 1] Flaming

Be nice, please. You're discussing manga and anime; this is not a situation where making personal comments will be acceptable. Feel free to rip into characters, plots, mangakas and animation companies, and healthy, heated debate is of course encouraged. However, personal attacks on other members or staff are both completely irrelevant and not allowed, and you will be punished for it accordingly.

2] Spamming

Spam can be defined in many ways:
* Advertising spam
* A post that contributes nothing to a thread except a short answer intended to boost postcount
* A post that is irrelevant to the topic of a thread
* A thread that is irrelevant to the section it was posted in
Spambots will be deleted on sight.
Offtopic posts will be deleted on sight, as well as posts which are clearly only there to boost a member's postcount.
Threads that belong nowhere else should be posted in the designated Spam Forum, found here.

3] Reporting Posts, Threads or Users

If you see a thread or post that you think has unsuitable content (flaming, trolling, spam or other such examples)
* PM a link to the thread/post to an online staff member
* Use the "report post" function
Please do not go around the forums complaining how the thread is still up and not trashed or moderated yet; eventually it will be taken care of by any avaliable staff member.

4] Signature Rules & Guidelines:

You may keep the standard settings of having no signature image or you can add one yourself. You can either use text based signature or an image based signature. If you choose to upload a signature, it must adhere to our General Site Rules.
* The following formats are allowed: .gif, .jpg and .png!
* Image based sig should be resized to 450 pixels in width, 400 pixels in height and a total size of 1050KB.
* Do not use 18+ images
* Do not use potentially offensive material involving religion or any such delicate subject.
* Do not use animal/human cruelty or ideologically charged images
* Staff has discretion on what is or isn't acceptable
* If in doubt, contact a Forum Moderator via PM and ask.
Staff ultimately have the final say in what is or is not acceptable.

5] General Board Guidelines:

a) English Only Forum
Threads and posts of this board should only be posted by Members in English. We are aware that we have many Members from many different places but, we can not moderate what we can not read.
Actions regarding this will be left to the discretion of the Staff of this forum.
b) Stay On Topic!
If you dont know how to get around the forums use the search function or take your time reading the FAQ page and exploring the forum Index. Threads posted in the wrong sections can occur in any forum and will be moved to the correct section by a mod. If you feel you have posted a thread in the wrong section, contact a staff member and ask them to move it for you.
c) Illegal threads
Posting hacks, bots, drug promotions or even plans to "destroy this forum" as they say is a serious offense and immediate actions will be taken to remove you from this forum.
d) Closing of Threads
Threads should be closed at a maximum of 2000 posts or if a moderator feels that the thread has gone off topic.
e) Image Content
Only normal images (NO PORNOGRAPHIC/GORE CONTENT) can be posted within threads. Warnings and punishable actions will be taken care of by staff members to see that the issue is dealt with.
You should also not post any imagery depicting animal/human cruelty, or any other material which is blatantly intended to be offensive.
f) Posting of Private/Personal Information
Should you be caught posting Private/Personal Information about any of our members or staff, SERIOUS actions will be taken to assure no word of what information leaked will spread anymore to what was posted and the culprit will be dealt with.
g) Bumping
Bumping old threads from months or possibly years ago doesn't really have a purpose. Any discussion from months/years ago can be brought up in a new thread, as there is bound to be additional information to discuss in the time since the subject was first brought up.

6]. Multiple/Dupe Accounts:
Dupe accounts are against the rules and nothing good can come out of them. They are usually used for rep abuse, forum raids ext. if we have find a dupe account we will Perm ban it on site.

7]. Contacting Staff
all Admins and Mods can be reached by email, through their User Profiles.
